The band is a horn section driven\, with an amazing rhythm section that will keep you out of your seat. The goal for Abstract Sounds is to bring the dance element back to jazz and Abstract Sounds does that with their funky grooves and dance club sounds blended with rich and extended harmony that consumes you. Jevaughn has been blessed to share the stage with artists like\, Aretha Franklin\, Tye Tribbett\, Kim Burrell \, Big Daddy Kane\, Benny Golson\, Deitrick Haddon\, Chick Corea and many more. Teresca’s philosophy\, “singing is the talent\, changing the atmosphere is the gift\,” speaks to her anointing as an atmosphere changer. \nSinging since the age of two\, Teresca\, a native of Cleveland\, Ohio has had the pleasure of singing with Gospel Recording Artists such as Donald Lawrence\, Kierra Shields and JJ Hairston. After moving to Columbus\, Ohio for academic purposes\, Teresca was blessed with the opportunity to sing background with many Praise Teams in the area. In addition to singing background\, Teresca worked as a Vocal Coach for Through Mind Eyes\, Incorporated\, training the youth in the artistry of singing. Teresca released her EP in March 2016 with debut single entitled “Revive Us”. She has had the opportunity to grace the Kingdom Image Awards in 2015. She is the winner of the 2016 Kingdom Image Awards Female Vocalist\, and 2023 Nominee for Female Vocalist of the year in addition\, Under Teresca’s Leading The City of Zion Church Praise Team are the 2017 Kingdom Image Awards\, Best Small Group Performance winner and 2023 Nominee for Best Small Group. Teresca was also WTHM Award nominee in two Categories “Best Female Gospel Vocalist “of The Year\, and “Best New Gospel Artist”. Teresca has ministered on several platforms including The Word Network on “The Shift with Dr. Taketa Williams and Trinity Broadcasting Network. Teresca has ministered internationally at The Canada Glass Awards and The Columbus Gospel Fest annually. \n A graduate of The Ohio State University\, Teresca earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology\, a Bachelors’ degree in Registered Nursing at Ohio University\, and currently pursuing her MBA at Franklin University. Teresca\, a Registered Nurse is the Market Director of Utilization Management of Springstone Behavioral Health Hospital. Teresca humbly serves as the Minister of Music at The City of Zion Church where Elgin D .Orton is Senior Pastor. Teresca is happily married to Minister Derrick L Showell and to this union have six children. In all this\, Teresca is purposed to give God glory through her life and music. Teresca’s desire is to use her genuine and captivating worship sound to all ages and races to enter into the pure element of worship. \nThe unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz\, classical and gospel music. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence\, has been a visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music\, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations. \nSoul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month. Seating for The Gospel Show Brunch show begins at 1:30 pm\, with showtime at 2:30 pm presenting the best national and regional Gospel Artists in concert hosted by Debra James Tucker. The evening show\, hosted by Qamil\, features a variety of Soul bands. From Ghana he came straight to college at Otterbein in Westerville – which was an even more foreign experience – but Columbus became home\, and Mark has lived and performed in Ohio ever since. \nMark is the lead singer of The ARK Band. DESCRIPTION:Description – Bringing her unique blend of folk and indie rock\, Kelly Vaughn returns to Charlie’s Stage for a special Thursday night show.  Kelly was born and raised in the Columbus\, Ohio area. As a child she learned to play piano and guitar. Most of her life was spent around horses. Kelly was a professional horse trainer for 20+ years. It was not until after losing her mother to cancer in 2010\, that she found herself reconnecting with her guitar and began writing music. In July of 2014\, she made the decision to pursue music full-time. \nShe has performed at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has opened for national touring artists such as two time Grammy nominated Jennifer Knapp. Interviewed twice to date on Good Day Columbus\, she was recently featured on “Slice of Life” with Adam Slinger (WSYX 6). Her song “Ordinary Girl”\, from her debut EP (2014) was featured on local radio station CD 102.5 (92.9). She was \ninterviewed on “Music Journeys” with Mike Foley (90.5 WCBE). and also highlighted on WGRN 94.1’s “The Music Room” with Rick Barr. In March of 2017\, she released her first full-length album entitled “Life Goes On”. After a three year hiatus due to Covid\, she is back to playing a variety of venues and taking her audiences on epic journeys of emotion and sound. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show. \n

DESCRIPTION:Natalie’s Grandview presents Donna Mogavero on Charlie’s Stage as our December happening hour residency every Friday.. For this show\, there will be no admission charge\, but tips are greatly appreciated.  \nDonna Mogavero is a singer/songwriter and professional entertainer. Donnas’ musical recognition of 30+ years began in high school. In the early ‘90’s she was recognized and awarded several Columbus Music Awards in categories of outstanding rock and folk vocalist\, artist deserving higher recognition\, acoustic solo performer and recording artist. \n In the late 1990’s she wrote The Streets Where I Live. This song gave the listener a vivid description of what life looked and felt like in what is now known as “the art district” called The Short North before renovation of the area in early 2000. Shortly after that\, with a little tweaking the song was used by Experience Columbus to promote and market Columbus\, Ohio. She was the first woman Grand Marshall in 2015 for Columbus’s Italian Festival. She had her own Sunday Radio Show called the Acoustic Coffee House on Cd(101) now 92.9 from 1991-’95 and 1998-2000. \nShe recently released her long awaited fourth original Cd The End Of the Drive\,  a compilation of songs that tell many stories flavored in rock\, country\, folk yet signature Donna Mogavero style. Among his many credits are appearances on “Mountain Stage with Larry Groce. \nRachel Figley was born and raised in Northeastern Ohio and has spent the better part of the last decade in Nashville\, Tennessee. Her sweet and soulful voice weaves a melancholy melody with stories of love\, heartbreak\, bourbon\, and the occasional murder. You’ll find evidence of small-town roots and Appalachian influence\, along with a hint of her favorite jazz vocalists from the 50s and 60s.  \nBen Leeson cut his teeth playing in dives around Northeast Ohio.
