DESCRIPTION:Nikki D & The Browns a.k.a The Sisters of Thunder is a family based group from Toledo\, Ohio. Their unique style is Gospel with Blues riffs and grooves\, all punctuated by Nikki D’s wildly soulful and electrifying steel guitar. In fact\, in 2016\, Guitar World magazine described Nikki as “The Jimi Hendrix of ‘Sacred Steel’ because of her willingness to experiment with vocal-like riffs and at times otherworldly sounds. She’s also a soulful vocalist that commands the attention of those that hear her raspy\, but yet sultry voice. The group is known for powerfully moving\, revival-like performances\, with beautifully atmospheric vocals riding above a wave of infectious rhythms and grooves. Their music has allowed them to open for artists like late Rance Allen\, The Slide Brothers and rock band\, Raconteurs. Their excitement for what they do and the energy they give will have you up on your feet. When they hit the stage\, a forecast for hand clapping and toe tapping will be expected. Check out their website and Facebook! \nThe unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz\, classical and gospel music. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence\, has been a visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music\, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations. \nSoul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month. Seating for The Gospel Show Brunch show begins at 1:30 pm\, with showtime at 2:30 pm presenting the best national and regional Gospel Artists in concert hosted by Debra James Tucker. The evening show\, hosted by Qamil\, features a variety of Soul bands. In addition to the regular menu\, enjoy a “Soul Food” special created just for this series! \nFood & Bar: Our full bar and a special brunch menu will be available before and during the show. Our kitchen will close from 4pm-5pm to prepare for our evening dining service. \n

DESCRIPTION:Natalie’s Grandview presents Bobby Floyd performing on the classic Hammond B3 organ with his Trio on Charlie’s Stage. For this Happy Hour show\, there will be no admission charge\, but tips are greatly appreciated. Floyd\, a Grammy nominee in 2020\, will perform with Derek DiCenzo on guitar and bass\, and Reggie Jackson on drums. Members of the group add just the right mix of talent and experience to create the elements necessary to produce an appealing sound that goes well beyond live entertainment. \nThe passion with which Floyd plays piano\, organ and keyboards are the result of his natural ability discovered at the age of two\, his love of music\, and years of practice. Whether performing jazz or gospel\, as a soloist\, with a trio or big band\, his feel is unique and inspirational leading him to many distinguished appearances around the world. Bobby has performed extensively in the U.S.\, Canada\, Europe and Japan. Touring events include major jazz festivals\, concert halls\, and numerous night clubs with Ray Charles\, Jeff Tyzik\, The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra\, Dr. John and Byron Stripling..
