This monthly series\, held on the second Wednesday of each month\, will include a special guest for each show\, and there will be rotating bourbon and other happy hour specials as well!   \nJanuary’s special guest is Bob Hermann. Bob has been playing the blues in the Cincinnati area for more years than he cares to admit. After a decade developing the craft\, he became the guitarist in Sweet Alice Hoskins Unfinished Business blues band. While playing 4 years in Alice’s band he learned from the best\, opening for legends such as Koko Taylor\, Lonnie Brooks and Luther Allison. In 2007 he helped take the band II Juicy to the International Blues Challenge. He also led The SoulFixers to the semi-finals of the IBC in 2013\, 2015\, and 2017. Since 2018 his band Misterman and the Mojo Band have been playing locally and regionally around Cincinnati. \n \nDeuce n a Quarter is a celebrated central Ohio based blues band comprised of Andre Scott (drums)\, Martin O. Brown (bass & vocals)\, Keven Jones (keyboard)\, Keith Colbert (guitar) and Brian Peters (lead vocals & harmonica). The band and its members have a list of credits as performing artists and studio musicians. They are two-time Ohio Music Award winners\, two-time Columbus Blues Challenge winners and two-time International Blues Challenge finalists. The band’s forte is its original\, blues-based music where you’ll hear the influence of blues\, country\, soul\, and gospel. They have a long list of noteworthy performances at festivals\, night clubs and music venues…  where they’re always the crowd favorite. \nThe Columbus Blues Alliance (CBA) is a non-profit organization founded to help preserve and nurture blues music and is an affiliate of the Blues Foundation in Memphis. Complemented by Jen “Lil’ Red” Milligan on drums and vocals and Dwight Cartier on bass\, the trio crafts blues that strike a harmonious balance between simplicity and sophistication. He’s a guitarist’s guitar player.  \nBorn in Normandy\, France in the early 60’s\, Pascal began studying classical guitar at eleven and discovered the Blue note a few years later. Since 1980 he’s been a professional musician and never ceases to give homage to his master teachers: B.B. King\, Albert King\, T-Bone Walker\, Kenny Burrell … and many others. A multi-award winning guitarist he’s had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many great artists including: Diunna Greenleaf\, Dave Specter\, Mike Sanchez\, Steve Clayton\, Russell Jackson\, Candye Kane\, Alex Shultz\, Kid Ramos\, Sax Gordon\, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne and Sean Castello.
