DESCRIPTION:Welcoming to the Natalie’s Happening Hour Stage for the first time – Mark Hunter (aka C LA C I – pronounced Selassie I). \nBorn in Freetown Sierra Leone\, Mark moved to boarding school in Ghana at 11. On Mfantsipim school campus in Ghana\, Mark was a ‘foreign’ student blessed to absorb some of the language and culture of Ghana. From Ghana he came straight to college at Otterbein in Westerville – which was an even more foreign experience – but Columbus became home\, and Mark has lived and performed in Ohio ever since. \nMark is the lead singer of The ARK Band. For this solo show he’ll play acoustic roots storytelling music that draws from Reggae Country and African influences. \nRESERVATIONS: Reservations are strongly encouraged for our free Happening Hour Shows! \n

They present their interpretations of a wide variety of tunes from David Bowie\, Paul McCartney\, Steely Dan\, and much more. DESCRIPTION:Secret Studio Presents Mark Sims and Friends featuring Bee Humana. \nMark Sims will be playing a set of original indie-folk-rock with accompaniment from Johnny Polanski on percussion. His songs are honest and straightforward reflections on being a parent\, grieving the loss of loved ones and aging. His fingerpicking style draws on old influences like Merle Travis and Chet Atkins as well as contemporary artists like Elliott Smith and Big Thief.  \nBee Humana is a truly unique band with an exciting mix of Jazz\, Flamenco\, Folk and classical sounds. Beautiful melodies and expert musicianship transport the listener to another world\, one where Elis Regina and Carlos Jobim are sitting in with Cat Stevens and the Dirty Three in some mysterious cafe. \nLocated in the heart of Franklinton\, Secret Studio is a recording studio\, arts space and concert venue owned and operated by local artists – poet Amy Turn Sharp and musician and audio engineer Keith Hanlon. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.
