DESCRIPTION:This event is a celebration of Tom Petty in support of the Columbus organization\, We Amplify Voices.  A collection of Ohio artists have joined to create Full Moon Fever\, a Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.  Playing his most recognizable hits and popular album cuts\, you will experience 2 nights of sing-alongs for a good cause and a good time\, supporting WAV\, and enjoying the timeless tunes of a music icon\, Tom Petty.  \nWe Amplify Voices: \nAbout We Amplify Voices:  Formerly The Dick & Jane Project\, WAV’s mission is to heal communities through creative expression. We bring people together with artists to share their experiences\, emotions\, and ideas\, and collectively turn those conversations into art. Then\, we amplify their stories to the broader community by sharing their songs\, videos and artwork on local radio\, streaming platforms and in public spaces to change hearts\, minds and start meaningful conversations. Founded as an after-school songwriting program by Columbus-based charter school administrator Ben Shinabery in 2011\, WAV has since provided programming in over 30 Central Ohio schools\, and 15 community programs serving between 250-350 individuals annually. \nFull Moon Fever: \nEvery so often\, an artist comes along that appeals to all types of people\, crosses musical boundaries\, and stands the test of time.  While there are many in the history of rock and roll\, few are as loved and listened to as Tom Petty.  Full Moon Fever was formed to pay homage to Tom’s musical legacy along with his band\, The Heartbreakers.  \nHaving played in both original and cover bands over the last 20 years\, Full Moon Fever’s seven members have a collective wealth of experience\, including national and international tours\, record label signings\, publishing agreements\, and opening for the likes of Bon Jovi\, The Doobie Brothers\, Shakira\, and Maroon 5.  Full Moon Fever continues to excite audiences around Ohio\, SELLING OUT every one of their 2023 shows!  \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show. If you have Standing General Admission tickets\, a limited menu of pizza and fries will be available to order from the bar. If you would like to eat before the show we encourage you to make a dinner reservation on Resy for our kitchen side of the venue. \n
