DESCRIPTION:“Singing is the talent but changing the atmosphere is the gift.” -Teresca Showell \nThe unique\, authentic\, and creative worship sound of ushering in the presence of the Lord has led Teresca Showell to be a highly sought after Praise and Worship Leader. Her passionate and powerful vocals convey her sincerity of worship towards the God of her heart. Teresca’s philosophy\, “singing is the talent\, changing the atmosphere is the gift\,” speaks to her anointing as an atmosphere changer. \nSinging since the age of two\, Teresca\, a native of Cleveland\, Ohio has had the pleasure of singing with Gospel Recording Artists such as Donald Lawrence\, Kierra Shields and JJ Hairston. After moving to Columbus\, Ohio for academic purposes\, Teresca was blessed with the opportunity to sing background with many Praise Teams in the area. In addition to singing background\, Teresca worked as a Vocal Coach for Through Mind Eyes\, Incorporated\, training the youth in the artistry of singing. Teresca released her EP in March 2016 with debut single entitled “Revive Us”. She has had the opportunity to grace the Kingdom Image Awards in 2015. She is the winner of the 2016 Kingdom Image Awards Female Vocalist\, and 2023 Nominee for Female Vocalist of the year in addition\, Under Teresca’s Leading The City of Zion Church Praise Team are the 2017 Kingdom Image Awards\, Best Small Group Performance winner and 2023 Nominee for Best Small Group. Teresca was also WTHM Award nominee in two Categories “Best Female Gospel Vocalist “of The Year\, and “Best New Gospel Artist”. Teresca has ministered on several platforms including The Word Network on “The Shift with Dr. Taketa Williams and Trinity Broadcasting Network. Teresca has ministered internationally at The Canada Glass Awards and The Columbus Gospel Fest annually. \n A graduate of The Ohio State University\, Teresca earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology\, a Bachelors’ degree in Registered Nursing at Ohio University\, and currently pursuing her MBA at Franklin University. Teresca\, a Registered Nurse is the Market Director of Utilization Management of Springstone Behavioral Health Hospital. Teresca humbly serves as the Minister of Music at The City of Zion Church where Elgin D .Orton is Senior Pastor. Teresca is happily married to Minister Derrick L Showell and to this union have six children. In all this\, Teresca is purposed to give God glory through her life and music. Teresca’s desire is to use her genuine and captivating worship sound to all ages and races to enter into the pure element of worship. \nThe unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz\, classical and gospel music. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence\, has been a visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music\, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations. \nSoul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month. Seating for The Gospel Show Brunch show begins at 1:30 pm\, with showtime at 2:30 pm presenting the best national and regional Gospel Artists in concert hosted by Debra James Tucker. The evening show\, hosted by Qamil\, features a variety of Soul bands. In addition to the regular menu\, enjoy a “Soul Food” special created just for this series! \nFood & Bar: Our full bar and a special brunch menu will be available before and during the show. Our kitchen will close from 4pm-5pm to prepare for our evening dining service.
