With an avant garde style that is known to spark joy to all in attendance\, Dre brings an unforgettable experience to any performance. His musical roots in gospel\, rock\, jazz and classical music create an unparalleled theatrical experience which genuinely touches those blessed to hear his gifts unfolding. It is impossible to ignore his sound. \nDre made his live debut in church choir at age 5. After landing a manager\, he traveled the country as a singer\, performing in every state except Alaska and Hawaii. At age 10\, he signed with an agency\, which led to a contract with Disney and an appearance on Broadway\, where he played young Simba in a production of “The Lion King” at New Amsterdam Theatre. Over the years\, he’s performed in front of a range of dignitaries\, including Senators and former presidents. He has also performed as a part of the dynamic duo known as The Tryangles for about 10 years\, before recently embarking upon his highly anticipated solo career. \nBringing a riveting\, enigmatic style to the Gospel Soul Brunch\, Dre will also be joined by his new band\, Wierfield Place. Featuring Brandon ‘BJazz’ Scott on keys\, Rob Riley Jr. on Drums\, Mike Ealy on Bass\, and the angelic voices of  Kartra Johnson\, De.. Davis\, and Erieonna Gaines on BGVs. Each with roots in the Central Ohio Church community\, it is not unusual to find any of these anointed performers gracing the choir or church band any given Sunday in sanctuaries across the city. Coming together to deliver Dre’s vision\, Wierfield Place is excited for this unique opportunity to use their gifts for glorifying God. \nThe unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz\, classical and gospel music. SUMMARY:Jennifer Knapp with Thunder and Rain
DESCRIPTION:Jennifer Knapp is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter\, author\, speaker and advocate. Her impressive history includes selling over one million albums with her first three releases Kansas (debut 1998\, Gold-certified)\, Lay It Down (2000)\, and The Way I Am (2001). She has earned four Dove Awards and has two Grammy™ nominations. The Kansas-born musician has toured the globe with artists such as Jars of Clay and was featured on the Lilith Fair Tour in 1999 and 2010. Knapp received critical acclaim for her human approach to the divine\, with The Los Angeles Times calling her “a rising star” and People Magazine describing her as “an uncommonly literate songwriter.”  \nWith a considerable fan base and critical and commercial successes\, Knapp walked away from music in 2002 at the height of her career. After a seven-year hiatus she returned in 2010 with a renewed passion for music showcased in her album Letting Go\, which debuted at No. 73 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart. Set Me Free followed in 2014 on Righteous Babe Records in conjunction with a memoir\, Facing the Music: My Story\, on Simon & Schuster. Her 2017 album Love Comes Back Around\, produced by Viktor Krauss\, pairs her fearless songwriting and strong\, expressive voice with rootsy arrangements.  \nAs the first major artist in the Christian music world to speak openly about LGBTQ identity\, her unique position created opportunities for Knapp to speak at churches\, universities\, conferences and on the TEDx stage. In 2012 she founded the non-profit organization Inside Out Faith\, through which she continues to advocate for LGBTQ & faith issues. A true Renaissance woman\, Knapp recently completed a master’s degree in theological studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School. \nThunder and Rain \n \nThunder and Rain’s sound lives somewhere in between  folk\, country\, bluegrass\, and pop\, made cohesive by  frontwoman Erinn Peet-Lukes’ “nimble\, yet devastating”  vocals\, heartfelt lyricism and a high level of musicianship  from all members of this progressive outfit.   \nThunder and Rain formed when Lukes began to explore  bluegrass jams in the Denver area\, where she met the  original three members of the group. Thunder and Rain  recorded their first record\, Holler Out\, in 2014.   \nAfter their first full-length release\, the band toured across  the US\, Canada\, Ireland and the UK. They were finalists in  the Rockygrass Band Competition in 2014 and named #1  Bluegrass band by the Denver Westword in 2016. Their  viral YouTube cover of Sweet Child o’ Mine brought the  band’s music to a worldwide audience.   \nThunder and Rain released their third album\, Passing in  the Night\, January 2020. The album was written after  Peet-Lukes went through a break up with one of the  band’s founding members. The pandemic thwarted plans  to tour on the heels of that record\, and the group went on  hiatus. DESCRIPTION:Both on stage and in private life\, these two internationally acclaimed artists share incredible chemistry! Their first introduction (lasting only a few seconds) in the crowded lobby of the historic Orpheum Theatre during the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis\, Tennessee left a lasting impression on both of them. It was not until a year later\, at a recording session during 2019 IBC that their professional acquaintance blossomed into a love affair\, culminating in marriage in August of 2019! Since that time\, renowned Canadian Blues-Rocker Paul DesLauriers and acclaimed American Soul-Blues singer Annika Chambers have unified their artistic destiny\, much to the joy of everyone who’s had the pleasure of hearing and seeing them together! \nHouston\, Texas native ANNIKA CHAMBERS\, like most great American singers\, began singing as a child in the Southern Baptist church. Though Gospel music is her mother tongue\, it is in the Blues that she found her true voice\, and what a voice it is!! She is the 2022 Blues Music Award Winner for Soul-Blues Female Artist of the Year. After winning her first Blues Music Award for Soul-Blues Female Artist of the Year in 2019\, she gave us her third release entitled “Kiss My Sass” on the VizzTone Label Group. It debuted at #4 on the Billboard Blues Chart and won the 2020 Living Blues Award for Best Southern Soul album. Annika performs regularly at top Blues festivals across North and South America as well as Europe. \nDeeply rooted in the blues-rock idiom\, guitarist-singer Paul DesLauriers is the winner of the Maple Blues Awards (Canada’s national Blues Award program) for Entertainer of the Year (2016\, 2017)\, Electric Act of the Year (2016)\, Guitarist of the Year (2013\, 2019) and Acoustic Act of the Year (2013). In 2016 he took 2nd Place at the 32nd International Blues Challenge held by the Blues Foundation in Memphis\, Tennessee. DESCRIPTION:Cristina Vane is an Americana artist out of Nashville. Her signature bottleneck slide guitar playing\, travis picking\, and clawhammer banjo are tied together by her silky\, powerful voice and her vivid songwriting. Born in Europe to a Guatemalan mother and Sicilian-American father\, Vane’s musical perspective is decidedly unique and authentic. Her debut release\, “Nowhere Sounds Lovely” was produced by Grammy-award winning drummer and producer\, Cactus Moser (Wynonna Judd). Vane’s latest album\, “Make Myself Me Again” was released April 2022\, and was co-produced by Brook Sutton\, Jano Rix (of the Wood Brothers) and Cristina herself\, and and charted the AMA as well as a few Alternative Country charts. Cristina has an extensive touring history and has provided direct support for: Bob Weir\, Wynonna Judd\, Molly Tuttle\, Nikki Lane\, Jerry Douglas\, Cass McCombs\, Town Mountain\, Duane Betts\, Arlo McKinley\, and Willi Carlisle. Vane sold out her 2021 Station Inn debut and was featured in the Bank of America ad for Ken Burns’  “Country Music” documentary. DESCRIPTION:Sometimes the apple falls far from the tree. Even without Comhaltas\, conservatories\, or competitions\, 3 musicians in Central Ohio who had come to love Celtic music came together to form Fialla. Their abilities to pick up traditional instruments and play them with grace seemed to be steeped in their DNA. All multi-instrumentalists\, and one a dancer\, they present Celtic music so faithfully one thinks they hear the accents of the old country. Finding their footing in the local scene\, including performing at the Dublin Irish Festival\, the band has grown to be a first-class representative of Celtic music. Their selection of songs and tunes and the way they arrange the pieces has a freshness devoid of the usual stigma facing up-and-coming artists. Fialla finds songs that intrigue them\, and plays with them until they make them their own. DESCRIPTION:Doug Morgan\, Parker MacDonell & Phil Maneri play music for the fun of it.  Morgan\, MacDonell & Maneri\, as they are known for short\, consists of three great friends whose voices blend to create harmonies that invite listeners to sing along. Though they sang in their colleges’ a cappella groups or played in the OSU Marching Band\, their singing is now accompanied by two acoustic guitars and one big upright bass.   \nTheir repertoire consists of well-known songs from the Beatles\, Crosby\, Stills & Nash\, James Taylor\, Loggins & Messina\, Johnny Cash\, the Eagles and Tom Petty.
