Teresca’s philosophy\, “singing is the talent\, changing the atmosphere is the gift\,” speaks to her anointing as an atmosphere changer. \nSinging since the age of two\, Teresca\, a native of Cleveland\, Ohio has had the pleasure of singing with Gospel Recording Artists such as Donald Lawrence\, Kierra Shields and JJ Hairston. After moving to Columbus\, Ohio for academic purposes\, Teresca was blessed with the opportunity to sing background with many Praise Teams in the area. In addition to singing background\, Teresca worked as a Vocal Coach for Through Mind Eyes\, Incorporated\, training the youth in the artistry of singing. Teresca released her EP in March 2016 with debut single entitled “Revive Us”. She has had the opportunity to grace the Kingdom Image Awards in 2015. She is the winner of the 2016 Kingdom Image Awards Female Vocalist\, and 2023 Nominee for Female Vocalist of the year in addition\, Under Teresca’s Leading The City of Zion Church Praise Team are the 2017 Kingdom Image Awards\, Best Small Group Performance winner and 2023 Nominee for Best Small Group. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence\, has been a visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music\, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations. \nSoul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month. Seating for The Gospel Show Brunch show begins at 1:30 pm\, with showtime at 2:30 pm presenting the best national and regional Gospel Artists in concert hosted by Debra James Tucker. The evening show\, hosted by Qamil\, features a variety of Soul bands. Floyd\, a Grammy nominee in 2020\, will perform with Derek DiCenzo on guitar and bass\, and Reggie Jackson on drums. Members of the group add just the right mix of talent and experience to create the elements necessary to produce an appealing sound that goes well beyond live entertainment. \nThe passion with which Floyd plays piano\, organ and keyboards are the result of his natural ability discovered at the age of two\, his love of music\, and years of practice. Whether performing jazz or gospel\, as a soloist\, with a trio or big band\, his feel is unique and inspirational leading him to many distinguished appearances around the world. Bobby has performed extensively in the U.S.\, Canada\, Europe and Japan. SUMMARY:Albert Lee with Special Guest Lightning Express
DESCRIPTION:Natalie’s is proud to announce the return of Guitar legend Albert Lee in concert with his outstanding band of veteran musicians\, along with the outstanding Everly Brothers tribute band Lightning Express! Albert first came to prominence during a 1964-68 stint in British Blues and R & B bands\, and his reputation grew and session work blossomed\, including appearances on “The London Bo Diddley Sessions” for Chess and Jerry Lee Lewis’ “The London Sessions”. This and other work with U.S. based greats led to a permanent position in the Crickets\, and by the time that ended\, Albert had long since made Southern California his home\, where he worked with Don Everly as well as on the debut album of Jackson Browne. \nLee joined Joe Cocker’s band in the mid 70s\, still doing constant studio and touring work\, primarily in Emmylou Harris’ Hot Band. 1978 led to a five-year adventure for Albert in Eric Clapton’s band and his studio work in this period continued\, including contributions to three albums by Rosanne Cash\, work with Dave Edmunds\, Rodney Crowell\, Nanci Griffith\, Carlene Carter\, and countless others. When the Everly Brothers reunited at London’s Royal Albert Hall\, Albert was on hand as guitarist and Musical Director. He continued in that role for over 20 years until the Brothers retired.  \nThe magical harmonies and classic hits of Don and Phil Everly\, The Everly Brothers\, come to life again at every Lightning Express show. This 5-piece band features Jesse McNamara and Jon Wink (tight\, two-part Everly harmonies and driving acoustic guitars)\, Ron Brzoska (note-perfect electric guitar licks)\, Dan Hange (classic\, bouncy bass lines)\, and Dick Day (crisp drum rolls and fills). Lightning Express are not impersonators\, but instead recreate the spirit\, energy and feeling of a live Everly Brothers show. \nFood & Bar: A limited food and full drink menu will be available before and during the show.

DESCRIPTION:Natalie’s\, with support from the Columbus Blues Alliance (CBA)\, presents Bourbon & Blues Happening Hour. This monthly series\, held on the second Wednesday of each month\, will include a special guest for each show\, and there will be rotating bourbon and other happy hour specials as well!   \nJanuary’s special guest is Bob Hermann. Bob has been playing the blues in the Cincinnati area for more years than he cares to admit. After a decade developing the craft\, he became the guitarist in Sweet Alice Hoskins Unfinished Business blues band. While playing 4 years in Alice’s band he learned from the best\, opening for legends such as Koko Taylor\, Lonnie Brooks and Luther Allison. In 2007 he helped take the band II Juicy to the International Blues Challenge. He also led The SoulFixers to the semi-finals of the IBC in 2013\, 2015\, and 2017. Since 2018 his band Misterman and the Mojo Band have been playing locally and regionally around Cincinnati. \n \nDeuce n a Quarter is a celebrated central Ohio based blues band comprised of Andre Scott (drums)\, Martin O. Brown (bass & vocals)\, Keven Jones (keyboard)\, Keith Colbert (guitar) and Brian Peters (lead vocals & harmonica). The band and its members have a list of credits as performing artists and studio musicians. They are two-time Ohio Music Award winners\, two-time Columbus Blues Challenge winners and two-time International Blues Challenge finalists. The band’s forte is its original\, blues-based music where you’ll hear the influence of blues\, country\, soul\, and gospel. They have a long list of noteworthy performances at festivals\, night clubs and music venues…  where they’re always the crowd favorite. \nThe Columbus Blues Alliance (CBA) is a non-profit organization founded to help preserve and nurture blues music and is an affiliate of the Blues Foundation in Memphis. DESCRIPTION:John McEuen brings with him 45+ years of worldwide performing with his banjo\, fiddle\, guitar\, and mandolin. Often referred to as ‘the String Wizard’\, he weaves stories of his travels and family life (he has raised 7 kids)\, taking us through where his musical path has taken him. \nA founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1966\, John instigated the 1972 classic Will the Circle Be Unbroken album\, (inducted in to the Library of Congress as ‘one of America’s most important recordings). Her music is a blend of distinctly homespun vocals\, acoustic simplicity\, yearning soulfulness\, and winsome storytelling. Check out their website!  \nAdam Remnant: \nAdam Remnant is a songwriter\, musician\, producer\, and educator who lives and works in Southeast Ohio.  Adam got his start fronting the folk-rock band Southeast Engine. As the principal singer and songwriter of the band\, Remnant and his bandmates garnered critical acclaim from publications such as NPR\, Paste Magazine\, Pitchfork\, American Songwriter\, and many more. Remnant continues making music under his own name today. Adam has released the 2016 EP\, When I Was a Boy\, as well as the 2018 LP\, Sourwood. Remnant’s signature baritone voice and literary songwriting act as the focal point in the productions. On Mfantsipim school campus in Ghana\, Mark was a ‘foreign’ student blessed to absorb some of the language and culture of Ghana. From Ghana he came straight to college at Otterbein in Westerville – which was an even more foreign experience – but Columbus became home\, and Mark has lived and performed in Ohio ever since. \nMark is the lead singer of The ARK Band. DESCRIPTION:Americana artist\, Jeff German & The Blankety Blanks\, returns on Friday\, January 19th at 8pm at Natalie’s Grandview.  The show will feature full band and acoustic versions of his songs to be performed on the intimate “Charlie’s Stage”\, including his latest two singles\, “Blindside” and “Road to Ruin”. \nThe Blankety Blanks lineup features Matt Wilson on pedal steel\, and B3\, Chris Jones on bass\, Jeff Passafiume on Lead Guitar and 12-string and Adam Darlin on drums. \nJeff German & The Blankety Blanks music can best be described as “Midwest music for the working class.”  He creates an eclectic mix of musical styles – country\, punk\, rock\, bluegrass\, gospel – and melds them into a blue-collar brand of Americana all his own.   \n \nThe band has recorded and released four albums on the indie label Slothrop Records. His latest collaboration with the Blankety Blanks is his 5th studio album recorded at Sonic Lounge Studios in Ohio and engineered by the great Joe Viers. Jeff German is a true songwriter and wordsmith and a darling of many critics. SUMMARY:Lydia Brownfield's Albatross City
DESCRIPTION:Singer/songwriter Lydia Brownfield’s latest project\, Albatross City\, is an audio-visual\, multi-media event showcasing Lydia’s original songs accompanied by original video. The three-piece ensemble includes Ty Landrum on a standing “cocktail” drum kit equipped with acoustic and electronic percussion\, and Jeff Dalrymple and Lydia switching between bass guitar\, and a variety of other guitars. \nThe songs were written with purpose and are each accompanied by a short film/video created by Lydia. The show is crafted with close attention to detail including pre-recorded sound effects setting moods\, and for changing of instruments among the group. Their sound is a twist of swampy pop\, and indie singer/songwriter\, with electronic undertones. \nStill with catchy hooks and the memorable choruses that Lydia is known for\, the songs feel explicitly poignant\, and deal with the often bipolar mix of emotion that is our collective human experience. Thoughtfully twisted with beauty and rage\, there’s an underlying theme which is the blessing and curse (not unlike the metaphorical albatross around one’s neck) that plagues artists everywhere. \nFood & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show. \n
